Associated British Ports awarded 3b construction with the £2.4m design and build contract to construct two bulk storage warehouses at Garston Port in Liverpool following the success of the Ayr contract.

The height of the reinforced concrete retaining walls have increased from the previous contract to 7.5m x 750mm thick in some areas.  Material propositions include 3,500m3 of concrete, 220 tonnes of cut and bent reinforcing and 130 tonnes of structural steel.
